Online Sync (Business Plan)

See how company data and drafts move automatically through Redovix's encrypted relay once you're on the Business plan — no files to send yourself.

Steps

  1. Team data moves automatically over Redovix's own relay
  2. No invite email, no attachment — your teammate already joined and is Active
  3. Click the menu next to their name, then "Push company data"
  4. It's encrypted on this device, then uploaded — Redovix's server can never read it
  5. They can pull it themselves, any time in the next 30 days — nothing to send

Team Sharing on the Pro plan already covers inviting an Accountant or Auditor — Online Sync is what changes once your company is on Business: the recurring part of that relationship, sharing company data and pulling in drafts, stops being a file you have to remember to send.

What actually goes over the relay, and what doesn't

The one-time identity handshake — the invite, and the response that activates it — stays exactly what it was on Pro: a file you send yourself, with nothing server-side involved in establishing trust between two devices. Only the two things you'd otherwise repeat by hand — pushing a fresh copy of company data, and pulling in an Accountant's submitted drafts — move over Redovix's own encrypted relay instead. Everything is encrypted on the sending device before it ever leaves, and decryptable only by the intended recipient; Redovix's own servers only ever store and forward bytes they can't read.

Nothing here is a live or continuous sync. Every push and every pull is a single action someone explicitly clicks — there's no background timer moving your data around. A pushed copy sits available on the relay for 30 days, so the other person can pull it whenever suits them, not the moment it's sent.

Tips

  • Online Sync requires the Business plan specifically — Pro's Team Sharing still works, just over a manually-passed file instead of the relay, and Pro also restricts team members to the same device as the admin, a restriction Business removes.
  • Revoking a team member's access also clears anything already sitting on their relay channel — they lose the ability to pull previously-shared data immediately, not just going forward.
  • If a push or pull ever fails (no connection, a relay hiccup), nothing is lost locally — the data hasn't gone anywhere, and it's safe to just try again.
