Steps

  1. Team Sharing lets you invite an Accountant or Auditor to help
  2. Open Settings → Organization → Team Members
  3. Click "Invite New User"
  4. Enter their name and pick a role
  5. Accountant: drafts transactions for your review, never posts directly
  6. Save the invite file, then send it to them however you like
  7. They're now listed as Invited — active once they join and you confirm

Team Sharing is how a second person — a bookkeeper you've hired, an accountant who reviews your books monthly, an auditor checking your filings — gets real access to your company in Redovix, without handing them your own PIN or a shared login.

Two roles, two very different permissions

An Accountant can draft transactions, but never posts them directly — every draft they create sits in a review queue on your own profile, and only becomes a real entry on your books once you personally commit it. Nothing they do touches your ledger until you say so. An Auditor is the opposite shape of access: full read access to review the books, and every write attempt rejected at the same IPC layer that enforces every other permission in the app — not just hidden in the interface, genuinely blocked if attempted directly.

Both roles work from their own separate local profile with their own PIN, not a copy of your login — inviting someone is closer to adding a second local user to the company than it is to sharing a password.

Tips

  • Team Sharing is a Pro-plan feature and above — on Free, this screen shows what upgrading unlocks instead of the working invite form.
  • The invite (and the response that activates it) is a file you send yourself — email, chat, a USB stick, whatever's convenient. No account or server sign-up is required on either side for this step.
  • On the Business plan, the recurring part — company data and drafts, not the initial invite — moves automatically over Redovix's own encrypted relay instead of files you pass by hand. That's covered in the next tutorial, Online Sync.
